“The Rise to Success program has set me on a clear path to achieve my goal of becoming a Radiation Therapist and continues to provide support as I obtain my associate degree. Going straight into the healthcare filed, gaining experience, getting paid and not worrying about college expenses has made a huge impact in my life. Working at Atrium Health at such a young age has given me the opportunity to work alongside Radiation Therapist and observe their work daily. They are always willing to explain and answer questions that I may have along the way. I am confident that this program will continue to play a significant role in shaping my future.

Rise to Success is a sponsorship program that enables high school graduates to earn an Associate degree or certification in a healthcare-related discipline from a local community college.
While participants are in college, they are hired into an entry-level, part-time position. Participants are expected to work for Atrium Health for the duration of their college career and an additional year after completion of their Associate degree; participants are also encouraged to earn their Bachelor’s degree upon program completion.
Participants will have access to a Career Coach who will support their academic and work success throughout the program.

Graduated with a high school diploma and 18 years of age as of July 1
Minimum 3.00 GPA (unweighted)
Must complete and submit all required application materials including essay questions, teacher and recommendation.
